Endometritis affects productivity and profits on every farm.

Around 10% of cows may be prevented from getting back in calf early because of endometritis. This affects fertility, and reduces days in milk – as well as income.

The good news is that it’s simple for your vet to treat these cows with Metricure®.

Cows that are likely to have endometritis are those that had a dead calf, an assisted calving, retained membranes, vaginal discharge or a metabolic disease such as milk fever. However, many cows not in these categories also get endometritis – so it pays to also check the whole herd with Metricheck™.

To get the best results, it’s well worth having your vet check cows early. Checking all cows 2–4 weeks after calving has been shown to give greater benefits than later intervention.

Metricure is the only endometritis treatment proven locally and internationally to ensure you reap the benefits of getting your cows back in calf earlier. Ask your vet for more information.
