Think you can pick a high-performing dairy herd? Put your milk sense to the test at Fieldays.

How to Enter

Talk to the team on site, add your name to the list.

The Game

Players compete in pairs
Roll the dice — highest roll gets a milk sensor advantage
Take turns selecting 3 cows
Each cow reveals:
- Milk volume
- Fat % and protein % (used to calculate milk solids)

Watch Out for Twists

Select boysenberry yogurt (aka blood in milk) or cream (aka mastitis) → you’re out
The milk sensor gives an early warning to help avoid these traps

How You Win

Your total is based on milk solids: Milk Solids = (Litres × 1.03) × ((Fat% + Protein%) / 100)
The highest milk solids score for three cows, each day wins
