Nobivac KC - for simple comprehensive protection against canine cough.
Nobivac KC is a live vaccine to provide protection against upper respiratory disease caused by Bordetella bronchiseptica and canine parainfluenza virus. Nobivac KC contains live, attenuated, freeze-dried B. bronchiseptica and canine parainfluenza virus.
Canine Cough. A distressing disease.
Canine cough is easily transmitted between dogs when they meet, such as during a walk, in boarding kennels or rescue centres. It can even spread in situations where dogs are just socialising, such as training classes, dog shows, or dog trial competitions.
The disease is caused by a number of different organisms and environmental influences. B. bronchiseptica is generally considered the most important cause although several other organisms, including canine parainfluenza virus, can also be involved.
Nobivac KC is the simplest intranasal vaccination available.
Nobivac KC is administered via a low dose (0.4mL), single-nostril intranasal application. Nobivac KC provides immunity against B. bronchiseptica within 72 hours of application, and immunity is proven to last for at least 12 months after a single vaccination.
Immunity is fast, effective and strong - ideal for use prior to anticipated risk (such as before entry to a boarding kennel, or a competition) or as a core annual vaccination. Nobivac KC is safe for use in puppies from 2 weeks of age.
